For thought I am awoken again my the colors of Kieslowski.
The language of cinema or of certain directors as a creation of sub-languages within a given medium- To apropriate gestures- sound ( the sound of Preisner) and the filtration of colors that become indicative not only of thematic concern but also as this new "language" of Kieslowski.
Montage -- the implicit narratives that these unique montages create-- again a language. All obvious but also intriguing-- in the creation not only of languages within a medium but in thinking about the constructs of narrative--and the role of the narrative in the dialogues between film sequence and spectator.
